Moving Stories: migration and climate change, 2nd April

20 March 2014 by kate Leave a Comment

We know that climate change increases migration, as parts of the world become difficult or impossible to inhabit. But we don’t often hear from the migrants themselves. The Climate Outreach and Information Network (COIN) presents an evening of stories from people who have been displaced from their homes as a result of climate change.

Moving Stories will take place at the Oxford Quaker Meeting House on St Giles. It’s free but places are limited so you will need to register in advance.

This event is not organised by WDM.

We’re part of Global Justice Now, a democratic membership organisation which campaigns against inequality and injustice in the global economy. We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
