Please do get in touch, if you are interested in finding out more about the Shropshire group of Global Justice Now. We welcome all new members, supporters and visitors to join in with the activities of our relaxed group.

The group is meeting from 7.30pm UK time on the second Tuesday of the month in 2022. We traditionally take a break in August and hold a social gathering in December.

Group meetings are happening online via video conferencing at the start of 2022 to support public health. Please email us to receive the web link for the next monthly meeting.

We organise public meetings with informative speakers on issues of social, economic and environmental justice, hold awareness raising stalls and actions, and carry out lobbying in the interests of a greener and fairer world.

We also run an informal book club. Books/articles include: Doughnut Economics, The Divide, The Uninhabitable Earth, Talking To My Daughter, The Value of Everything, Rethink, Retool, Reboot, Good Economics for Hard Times, How Democracy Ends, Amazon Besieged, WHO Should Declare Climate Change a Public Health Emergency, Creating a Grand Coalition To Foster Human Wellbeing, Invisible Women, Trade Secrets, Humankind, Less Is More.

We’re part of Global Justice Now, a democratic membership organisation which campaigns against inequality and injustice in the global economy. We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
