Wed: 30 Oct: Lydian versus Armenia – film and discussion

We watched a film screening and discussion about a mining company which is suing a country for £2 billion because its government wants to protect its people and environment from the toxic effects of gold mining. 
We gained huge admiration for the people of Armenia who are fighting  so hard for the health of their environment and  community. We increased our resolve to fight ISDS in any trade deal that our government signs.
