Stalls at Reading Waterfest and East Reading Festival June 2018 and Earley Green Fair, August 2018

June 5, 2018 by reading

We organised stalls on at Reading Waterfest and at E. Reading Festival. We highlighted our pharmaceutical campaign with a simple game. Participants were asked to fix price labels to three medicines in the years 2008/11 and in 2016. (The way the prices have been hiked is absolutely shocking.) We also organised a stall at Earley Green Fair on August 4th. Andrew Micklebrough coordinated that one.

Matt Rodda, MP for Reading East visited our stall at East Reading Festival. He was shocked when he heard about the huge profits made by pharmaceutical companies and when he saw the enormous increase in the price of the three different medicines.
The first two pictures are from Waterfest and the third is from the East Reading Festival.
