Climate chaos … coming it is!

Leicester Climate Change march on Saturday 28th November

400 people marched through town to show that we care about Climate Change.

Photo opportunity at Leicester climate change march.

There was a carnival atmosphere, with people young and old, dogs, bicycles … and our own choir to sing on route. We were delighted to be joined by the Red Leicester Choir, who led us in a rendition of the official song for the march.

We need to wake up

We need to wise up

We need to open our eyes and do it now, now, now

We need to build a better future

And we need to start right now

We’re on a planet that has a problem

We’ve got to solve it, get involved and

Do it now, now, now

We need to build a better future

And we need to start right now

Make it greener – make it greener

Make it cleaner – make it cleaner

Make it last, make it fast and do it now, now, now

We need to build a better future

And we need to start right now

We need to build a better future

And we need to start right now

Get singing!

We’re part of Global Justice Now, a democratic membership organisation which campaigns against inequality and injustice in the global economy. We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
