The £45 billion question

September 22, 2010 by glasgow

What would you invest in? Our government has given £45billion to RBS – not far off the GDP of Iraq. Much of this is now being invested by RBS in projects which are harmful to both people and planet.

This interactive event will put you in charge to re-imagine how the money could be spent.

Tuesday 12 October, 6-30-8:30pm, Renfield St Stephens, 250 Bath Street

Free event with refreshments, but please register by emailing office@wdmscotland.org.uk or calling 0131-243-2730

We’re part of Global Justice Now, a democratic membership organisation which campaigns against inequality and injustice in the global economy. We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
