Corporate courts event in Saltburn 15th May 2019

May 8, 2019 by GJ Cleveland

Trade and investment deals are giving big business unique powers to sue governments for making decisions that harm their profits. This system, known as Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), enables corporations to sue governments in corporate courts for policies such as raising the minimum wage, introducing new rules to protect the environment and  putting health warnings on cigarette packaging.  Find out more from the resources on the Global Justice Now website.

Come and discuss what we can do to help stop the corporate court system at a meeting organised by Global Justice Cleveland:

Wednesday 15th May,

starting at 8 pm, in the upstairs room,

The Marine Hotel, 43 Marine Parade, Saltburn-by-the-Sea TS12 1DZ.
