Moor Sustainable CIC are hosting an EU “Question Time” at which one of our group members, Andy Welford, will be speaking. Members of the group will also be attending the BBC Tees Question Time on the 16th June.
Friday 10th June 7.30 pm
Danby Village Hall, Dale End, Danby, Whitby, YO21 2LZ
How will the decision affect the future for the Esk Valley Community?
Hear the facts and put your questions to:-
- David Malone – film maker, author and former Scarborough and Whitby constituency candidate for the Green Party
- Sam Cross – County Councillor and former Scarborough and Whitby constituency candidate for UKIP
- Andy Welford – local dairy farmer and “Remain” supporter
- A speaker from the “Vote Leave” Campaign
Whatever the decision it will have significant effects on our lives, our community and our environment. From media reports so far in the campaign people want more facts but they are not necessarily hearing what they want to know. Moor Sustainable CIC has therefore decided to help our community to become better informed by giving you the opportunity to put questions to a panel at Danby Village Hall on Friday 10th June.
Moor Sustainable would like to have questions in advance so that they can choose a representative selection. Questions will be especially welcome on how the decision will directly affect us all in this area but it is up to you to decide what you would like to ask. They will try to let you know before the meeting (or if not at the door) if your question has been chosen.
Please send your question with your name via info@moorsustainable.org.uk by Wednesday 8th June.
Please pass on information about the meeting to your friends and neighbours.
Global Justice Now has produced a EU referendum briefing which you might find helpful when deciding which way to vote.
