Visit to Brussels

March 7, 2015 by GJ Cleveland

On 3rd February Barbara Welford, our secretary,  joined eighty other people at St Pancras Station to travel to Brussels to protest against TTIP.  The group was made up of members of Global Justice Now (formerly World Development Movement), 38 Degrees and War on Want.  When she got to Brussels she linked up with other campaigners from across Europe, including Friends of the Earth Europe.

We’re part of Global Justice Now, a democratic membership organisation which campaigns against inequality and injustice in the global economy. We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
