One Englishman’s View of the Philippines

How much do you know about the Philippines? It rarely features on our news.

Mick Lacey, our speaker, has family there. Mick has a strong view on justice and injustice in the world economy. Using his experience of the Philippines, he will report on how the economy of his family’s hometown was affected by globalised capitalism’s reaction to the opening of China to international investment.
