May group meeting & AGM

23 April 2012 by kate Leave a Comment

Tuesday 8th May

7:30pm-9pm. Monthly campaign meeting, discussing upcoming campaigns and activities. Newcomers very welcome.

The May meeting will also be our AGM. As well as looking back on successes during the year, we look forward to the future – and crucially, which people are going to have the named positions within the group. These positions are:
Chair
Secretary (the current secretary would like to stand down, so please consider standing for this role)
Treasurer
Newsletter Editor
Press liaison

If you are interested in standing for any of these roles, please contact us on oxwdm [at] phonecoop.coop or 01295 259 377.

Action planning: we will be planning the action that will take place on Sat 16th June, on the 20th anniversary of the first UN Climate Change Summit in Rio de Janiero.

Venue: Oxford Town Hall

We want to see a world where ordinary people control the resources they need to live a decent life, rather than corporations and the super rich calling the shots.
