Building global justice: East Midlands gathering Sat 16th April

Join activists and campaigners from Global Justice Now for a day of discussion, debate and opportunities to plan concrete campaigning activity.

 

Key sessions:

 

  • Reclaiming the Food System: How we can challenge Monsanto and build food sovereignty (Heidi Chow, senior campaigns officer, Global Justice Now)
  • Another Europe is Possible: The progressive case for staying in the EU (Alex Scrivener, policy officer, Global Justice Now)

 

Plus updates on trade justice, the politics of migration and local campaigning. With activists from Global Justice Now groups in Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Northamptonshire.
