Welcome to Global Justice Brighton & Hove!
We’re a very active local group – we don’t just sit around and talk about the state of the world; we get out there and try and change it too.
But who are we?
We are teachers, students, admin workers, film-makers, call centre operatives, radiologists.
We are under 21. We are in our thirties. We are over 65.
Some of us are talkative. Some prefer to listen. Some have years of campaigning experience. Some are doing this for the first time.
We come from different walks of life. But the one thing we agree on – apart from the urgent need for global justice – is that we always need more people to get involved.
In short, we need you.
So if you’re up for getting involved with a vibrant, friendly group & doing something in your spare time, why not drop in on one of our monthly meetings and see what it’s all about?
We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm – see the ‘Our Next Meeting’ page for more details on location, or look at our Facebook page.
During the meetings we usually have a talk or discussion on a relevant topic, feedback from previous actions and plan future ones.
We hold stunts, demonstrations, public meetings and stalls. We support national campaigns and we’ve got links with other local campaigning groups and often work together.
You can just turn up on the night, or if you like you can sign up to our email list, join our Facebook group, and/or like our Facebook page.
We can’t change the world alone.
But we can change the world together.
