Many local supporters have joined in actions to oppose the planned US trade deal which threatens to reshape our society into a corporate marketplace, which will have adverse effects on our NHS, our action to reduce climate change, our food standards, and more.
Many groups and individuals have signed the letter to the local papers (see link below)
A Halloween-themed group gathered in Bradford Centenary Square with the Global Justice Now banner. Many groups around the country joined in similar actions – you can see these on the national GJN website

Global Justice Now activism is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Earlier this week, members of our local group joined others from Bradford West, in lobbying Naz Shah, MP, via Zoom.
This was part of a national event (“The Time is Now”) organised by The Climate Coalition, campaigning for a green recovery from the Covid crisis
Our discussion with Naz centred around our concerns about the expansion of Leeds Bradford airport, and the negative impact it would have on the environment. Naz was open about the pressure she receives from the business community who favour the expansion, but listened to our concerns and agreed to ask her researchers to look into the detail more carefully.
