Mela visitors signed action cards and petitions to ask Vince Cable to require companies declare the massive amount of carbon they emit from fossil fuel investments, not just the heating and lighting as proposed. The public were offered dirty oil to drink and coal as bar snacks and showed great interest in the campaign.
